A class suitable for men and women ideally with at least a little experience of yoga. Compete beginners may be able to join this class but should contact David to discuss suitability first. This is a well rounded yoga practice in the viniyoga tradition with emphasis on movement with the breath to work towards a healthy mind and body. This approach to yoga will adapt the yoga to suit each individual, and takes account of each individuals circumstances. Modifications and alternatives are given when necessary.
The yoga tradition created by TKV Desikachar and his father T. Krishnamacharya is one of the most influential and effective of yoga forms and is sometimes referred to as Viniyoga. It is a slow and mindful practice combining movements of the body with our breath. Its good for your body, your emotions and your mind and with all of the uncertainty in the World at the moment the Viniyoga tradition is a great way to bring some ease and stability to our lives.
